The Brighton Visual and Performing Arts Department encompasses the music, art and theater programs for the District.  Students are engaged in a balanced program at all levels of study, integrating performance, analysis, movement, observation, problem-solving, development of critical thinking skills, and creativity to support the development of a commitment to life-long learning.  Multiple opportunities and levels of participation are available to our students in this diverse and inclusive program.  From entry level experiences at our elementary schools in general music and classroom art to specialized courses in music, art, and theater at our high school--there is something for everyone!

For those students who want to challenge themselves further, we also offer a full program of co-curricular activities involving all areas of the arts at all levels.

In June and July, Brighton Summer Arts provides creative workshop experiences for 4th through 8th grade students in the morning, a 7th through 12th grade musical in the morning, a 4th through 12th grade musical in the afternoon, and an evening high school musical open to 9th through 12th grade students.

Please enjoy visiting our site! Explore our pages as we celebrate our students' accomplishments.  Look for the latest news updates, information about our concert and production schedules, and see all that our program has to offer to our students and the Brighton community!

Welcome!

Dr. Jason S. Berger, Director for Visual and Performing Arts
